431 Kusweg · The terrace and the table
The ground-floor home, built around a terrace. Three bedrooms, six people, and a door that opens straight onto the dune.
The bottom unit
The terrace is the reason to book this unit. It is covered, it is large, and it opens directly onto the dune grass with the sea a few steps beyond — the sort of space where lunch starts at one and nobody has moved by five.
Inside there is a table that seats twelve facing the water, a kitchen that can feed a crowd, and a bedroom set up for children. This is the half of the house that suits families.
Sleeping arrangements
Maximum occupancy is 6. If you need a cot or a high chair, ask when you enquire.

The other half
2 bedrooms, sleeps 5, the sea views and the garage. If you are more than six, or two families travelling together, take both. The whole house sleeps 11 for R14 500 a night — exactly the sum of the two units, nothing added — and it is the only way to have the building to yourselves: the view and the garage upstairs, the terrace and the table for twelve downstairs, and two kitchens so nobody is queueing for the hob.
